“My Small Research on The Psychology of Teaching Learning Mathematics”

So far, there is a tendency that parents and teachers think of mathematics as a measure of child intelligence. A child is not considered intelligent if it does not satisfy the math score, even though he was good at other subjects. Driven by the desire to have a bright child math, many parents later moved to accompany the children learn mathematics. This desire is certainly not wrong, but must consider the child's ability. Interview
Interview I did to the child's call it 5th grade children elementary school named Dimas, Asrul and 6th grade children elementary school named Nina. I did this interview when they are learning. Dimas, a child who is less intelligent, naughty and spoiled it does not like math, seen from the attitude that he's bored when learning mathematics show. When I asked more about math, dimas just silent. When I asked him, if there is trouble?, Dimas was silent and did not want to ask anything to me. Then I saw that he had homework to do together Asrul classmate. Apparently he was just doing exactly what her friends do Asrul. Then I asked again if you cheat danger Asrul job or his own? Dimas said with a little embarrassed, "I cheated". Then I asked him why he cheated. And the answer was pretty obvious, "I do not know about it, not the teacher who explains less clear", said dimas. Why do not you try asking the Asrul how to do it? My return asked him. Asrul was said and replied, "I'm not a teacher, I am also not necessarily true". This is a child Asrul class champion in the 5th grade elementary school. He's a smart, learning counseling but he also often played. Then I asked the same thing to Asrul, whether he likes math? He also said, "I do not like math, I can do about it because it was my subjects". So according Asrul only a requirement of a compulsory curriculum learning mathematics. Then I asked Asrul why he did not like math, he said "math is too complicated, difficult, difficult, with the numbers and calculations, take a long time to do the problems". Reasons that much of a 5th grade elementary school children why he did not like math. And if they want to learn and know more about mathematics, mathematics is a very fun and addictive to do the problems again. But maybe they have not thought that far, perhaps because of age and environmental factors that also make them less like math. Then I ask them whether or Asrul Dimas, how their teachers explain math to their students? If only just a monotonous boring or very interesting students, but instead make it easier math students? They even answer when the teacher was explaining the way monotonous, like most teachers. Teachers simply explained to the class and explain the teacher after asking if there was trouble and asked, if no students are given problems to do, if there is still much to do wrong in the matter - about the teacher giving homework. But they complain a little, as do the problems are not guided and assisted, but the teacher left the classroom and instead talk in the office. And will go again after the lesson time is running out. From their stories I could take a conclusion that the method of learning the teacher is very influential on the way students learn.
Then I went on my interview of Nina 6SD graders.
I did this interview when he asked me to help with homework given to her teacher. I asked the same thing as my questions to Asrul and Dimas. The most basic question, whether Nina likes math? Answer was simple, I love math but I can not do math problems. He even asked me how the solution. Few of my solution, to get used to do the problems - math problems to get used to math. Then the other question I ask is how or what methods they use mathematics teachers in delivering mathematics? It turned out the same answers come out of the child and the child 6SD class 5SD class. Maybe because they are in a primary school, a teacher - a teacher they are not much different in teaching. Then I asked again how the value of report cards, Nina just smiles and says yes there are ugly and not in the class rankings. And Nina 6SD graders who should get better teaching because students will face UNAS 6SD. And basically includes mathematics subjects to be tested in UNAS.

Data

Data that I could that the value of children, how children's learning is strongly influenced by the method (how to learn), the material being taught, and attitudes or behavior in the neighborhood.

Thus to achieve meaningful learning in mathematics PBM may take a few things like a deep mastery of the material by a teacher of mathematics, the application of appropriate teaching methods so that students actually get directly in learning mathematics, and strive for fun and learning associated with everyday life.

The Power of Category and Networking

Basically the future of all the visible is the perception that nothing is out of our minds.
According to Immanuel Kant (1771) which says that in mind the existing category, said:

3. Category.
4. Relationship, a vivid example of a sentence if the relationship is .... Then ....

The most simple of the power of category.
The basic principle is identity and Contradiction.
A is A. (identity).
B is not A. (Contradiction).

Categorization
phenomenon - idea - knowledge - references - noumena.
The references which are have a category / criteria, that are category one and networking.
Category is one of thinking method.
Method of thinking in the category are for example: definition, function, purpose, components, ideas.

Gravensi also mentioned horizontal and vertical in the power of category. He also explains the vertical and horizontal relationships in mathematical thinking.
1. Horizontal: the attitude is qualitative, while he is in the method for the deduction and he conteks principled.
2. Vertical: in the case method is Notions (understanding, understand, the mind)
This Categoriez routine and for any phenomenon. The attention that comes from awareness that is:
1. Intention,
2. Abstraction,
3. Idealization,

To uncover the phenomena


An event that happened there must be something behind the event, or in other words there is a reason or cause behind the incident. Whether it be negative or positive reasons.
Behind an event resulted in a person (the subject) has the character, attitudes and qualities such as:

Ø Trauma : the one that shows the attitude that no explanation is needed for the communication of others (the neighborhood) are able to know.

Ø Readiness (appersepsi) : is preparedness, meaning a person of high readiness is expected to avoid the nature of the trauma.

Ø Motive (motif dan motivasi) : the desire or the way how to receive the event. Hiding behind the events mean.

Ø Implementasi : deliver on these events to others

Ø Predictation : predicting, guessing about the event, why, why, how these events can happen.

Ø Feeling: feeling when subjected to an explanation of events before or after there is an explanation.

Ø Attitude : attitude, manner or behavior. Differences of attitude or a way to have an impact or effect different.

Ø Determine : determine the attitude when it happened.

Ø Subject : how people who do (the perpetrators) incident.

Ø Object : how people are subjected to these events.

Ø Relation : how the relationship with environmental actors subject to the event.

Ø Communication (explanation): how to explain the reasons behind the incident.

Ø Context : mood or feeling things that happened during the event.
